It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cora V. Barna of Watseka, Illinois, who passed away on January 28, 2025, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Cora leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Cora may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Williams and Goldie Williams (Reins); and her husband John Barna. She is survived by: her children, Greg (Valeria Barna) and Karen James of Manteno; and her grandchildren, Greg Barna Jr., Michelle Engelking, Melissa Curry, Kimberly Denault and Nikki Desiderio. She is also survived by one sister; and two brothers.
