With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Claudette Harris (Watseka, Illinois), born in Marion, Illinois, who passed away on September 12, 2019 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Henderson and Dimple "Aline"; her siblings, Yvonne Messier and Tom Henderson; and her granddaughter Amanda Harris.
She is survived by: her husband Bill Harris; her children, Pamela Ely (Tom), Kim Menigoz and Shane Harris (Sandy); her grandchildren, Chad Ely (Joy), Derek Ely (Dominique), Jennifer Menigoz (Matt Uribe), Nic Menigoz (Don Rich) and Amy Harris-Daniels (Jason); her great grandchildren, Jocelyn Ely, Eliana Ely, Leila Ely, Mila Ely, Khanon Uribe, Jordana Uribe, Kinley Daniels and Sawyer Daniels; and her brothers, Gary Henderson of Jefferson City, MO and Terry Binkley of Marion, IL. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, along with other relatives and friends.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to Hospice of Southern Illinois or St. Jude's.
