It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles G. Nichols of Watseka, Illinois, born in Austin, Indiana, who passed away on November 9, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Nichols and Ruby Nichols (Artebarry); his former wife Martha Swartz; his stepson Tim Feldman; and his children, Ralph Nichols and Juwanda Compton.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Sue Nichols of Watseka; his children, Charles E. Nichols (Susan) of Polk City, FL and Shawnda Shipman (Rick) of Fairdealing, MO; his stepdaughter Pam McTaggart (Mark) of Gilman; and his siblings, Valerie Taylor of Auburndale, FL and Lee Nichols of Auburndale, FL. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Body Cemetery (1400 N 2000 East Rd, Watseka, IL 60970).
