He was predeceased by: his wife Nina Mueller; his parents, Walter C. Mueller and Mary Mueller; his children, David Elledge and Denise Degroen; and his siblings, Ben Mueller, Char Sugrue and Mary Mueller.

He is survived by: his children, Christopher Mueller (Jan), Rickie Elledge, Debra Cummings, Eve Ebbing (Bernie), Betty Ann Potter (Chris), Tina Cox (Bobby), Candie Stewart (Greg), Herman Mueller, Walter Mueller, Michael Mueller (Amanda) and Brian Mueller (Delta). He is also survived by 30 grandchildren, his adoring 30 great-grandchildren, his treasured two great-great-grandchildren, as well as his many nieces and nephews.
