It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Helmold of Waterman, Illinois, who passed away on July 5, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Helmold and Martha Helmold (Baumgartner); and his brother Fred. He is survived by: his brother George Helmold (Joanne); his nieces and nephews, Patricia Chelmowski (Ray), Linda Ripper (Grant), Bryan Helmold and Robert Helmold; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jessica Smothers (Charlie), Christina Chelmowski, Katelyn Helmold and Benjamin Helmold; and also, Carly, Dana Duke (Ethan), Joshua, Andrew, Alex Ripper and Jessica Olmo (Joseph).
The CDC guidelines for the Covid-19 will be followed- facial coverings required and social distancing at all times.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to The Barn on Baseline animal shelter in care of the Butala Funeral Home and Crematory, 1405 DeKalb Ave., Sycamore, IL. 60178.
