He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto C. Johnson and Amanda E. Johnson (Davidson); his wife Marion E. Lindberg; and his siblings, John Johnson, Glen Johnson and Eleanor Pierce.
He is survived by: his children, Shirley Koelling (Vern) of Grant Park, Bruce Johnson (Hedy) of Rochelle, Carol Johnson of Westmont, Paul Johnson (Dawn) of Stillman Valley and Lori Davids of Polo; and his close friend Judy Bryant. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
