We are sad to announce that on August 16, 2020, at the age of 101, Leota Benson of Waterman, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Jeff and Annie Amelia Turnbow (Rowland); her husband Robert W. Benson; her son John Benson; her sister Marjorie Kissling; and her son-in-law William Unzicker.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Unzicker of Cape Girardeau, Rebecca Stephens (Robert) of Sandwich, Thomas Benson of Waterman, Illinois and James Benson of Waterman, Illinois; her grandchildren, William Unzicker (Abigail), Robert Unzicker, Amy Esquibel (Dominic), Stephen Benson, Elizabeth McFeely (Steve) and Rachel Goldman (Michael); her great grandchildren, Gabriel, Wesley, Elliot, Sierra, John and Ada; and her daughter-in-law Susan Benson Robison. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in memory Leota T. Benson, to the donor's choice.
