With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leo F. Tjelle (Waterman, Illinois), born in Gardner, Illinois, who passed away on September 20, 2018 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his children, Kevin Tjelle (Katherine) of Waterman, Michael Tjelle (Leanne) of Coal City, IL, Karen Jahn (Edward) of Morris, IL, Laurie Naretto (Brian) of Reddick, IL and Julie Schuler (Steven) of Morris, IL.
He is survived by: his parents, Henry Tjelle and Mayme Tjelle (Brusnighan); and his wife Phyllis of Dwight, IL. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren: three sisters in law and one brother in law.
Memorials in Leo's name may be made to St. Patrick's Church or a charity of the donor's choice.
