Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Kurt Tompkins of Waterman, Illinois, born in Sandwich, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 65, on November 30, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Tompkins and Mary Jane Tompkins; and his sister Patricia Thurlby. He is survived by: his son Todd Tompkins (Sarah); his grandchildren, Scarlett, Lucas and Henry of Waterman; his daughter Jill Rockstead (Chasen); his grandchildren, Wesson and Grant of Shabbona; his siblings, Amy Overby (Wayne "Butch") of Waterman, Ona Johnson (Ernie Swafford) of DeKalb and Jody Guihan (Frank) of West Burlington; and his brother-in-law Ray ThurIby of Chariton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions a memorial service will be held in the Spring of 2021.
