He is survived by: his wife Janet Schmitz; his sons, Jared Schmitz (Sara), Justin Schmitz (Julie) and Joshua Schmitz (Jenni); his grandchildren, Brennan, Lyric, Morgan, Cole, Elliot and Blayke; his siblings, Sharon Hoerr (George), Dennis Schmitz (Brenda), Robert Schmitz (Linda) and David Schmitz (Tamara); and his siblings-in-law, Dan Kelley (Shirley Muskopf), Rich Kelley (Celeste), Jerry Kelley (Marie), Eva Schaefer (Roger), Kathy Bingham (Eric), Teresa Polacek, Rose Kettler, Ellen Otten (David), Laura Kelley (Catherine), Donna Kelley and Carol Kelley. He is also survived by nieces; nephews; and cousins.
