He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Marge" Simmons; his children, Angela Marie Simmons and Robert Rowlands Simmons; his grandchildren, Trevor William Simmons and Kaila Marie Simmons; his siblings, Nancy Larson, Sally Bockhop, Susan Holtz and Thomas Simmons; and his sisters-in-law, Cathie Collmeyer (Wayne), Fran Hanners (Mike) and Mary Sieli.
