He was predeceased by: his parents, John Werkmann and Dorothy Werkmann; and his parents-in-law, Marcella and Wallace Moffitt. He is survived by: his wife Connie Werkmann; his children, Sara Schmitz (Jared) and Dustin Werkmann; his grandchildren, Brennan and Lyric Schmitz; and his siblings, John Werkmann and Linda Case (Ken). He is also survived by nieces; nephews; and cousins.
