He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. and Margaret Ailene Steinsieck Jr.; his uncle Paul; his aunt Marie Hoffmeister; and his cousin Gary Hoffmeister.
He is survived by: his sister Sue Steinsieck; his nieces, Maggie Restivo (Michael Tortorello) and Lisa Nieman (Kyle); his great-nephew Max Nieman; and his cousins, Denny Hoffmeister (Linda) and Patty Hoffman (Randy).
