We bid farewell to Ruby L. Vanover of Waterloo, Illinois, born in Makanda, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 27, 2024 at the age of 92. Ruby touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Larence Roy Vanover; and her parents, Morah T. Taylor and Martha O. Taylor. She is survived by: her sons, Wendell Vanover (Angela) of Waterloo, IL and Lawrence Vanover Jr. (Betsy) of Murfreesboro, TN; her granddaughters, Carissa Branson (Brett) of Waterloo, IL, Lori Herron (James) of Brownburg, IN and Heather Hickman (Steven) of Rome, GA; her stepgrandchildren, Bill Thomas (Jennifer) of Florida, Scott Thomas (Kasumy) of Japan, Melissa Hardin and Brad Hardin; and her sisters-in-law, Hattie Vanover and Jane Vanover. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
