He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Schanz and Marguerite C. Schanz. He is survived by: his brother Kenneth Robert Schanz (Nancy); his nieces, Rhonda Marie Major (Eric) and Angela Dawn Filipiak (Jeff); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Charli, Tyler Major, Carson and Kennedy Filipiak; and his aunt Marcella Boehne. He is also survived by cousins; extended family and friends.
