With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roger R. Schewe of Waterloo, Illinois, born in Red Bud, Illinois, who passed away on May 5, 2022 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil F. Schewe and Luella C. Schewe; his siblings, Robert, Roy Schewe and Lucille Schewe; and his parents-in-law, Esther Waage and Roy Tolin.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Schewe; his daughters, Dawn Wahlig (John) and Angie Schewe (Christine Powers); his sister Gloria Schneider (Bob); his grandchildren, Ashley Beeler (Mike), Amanda Konarcik (Wil Catanzaro), Tre Wahlig, Krystin Shaffer (Aaron) and Kacey Burkhart (Bo); his great grandchildren, Morgan, Alyssa, Landon, Ryan, Hudson and Cal; his friends, Wayne, Mel and Norman; and his brother-in-law Bob.
As an expression of sympathy the family prefers memorial contributions to: House of Neighborly Service or American Cancer Society.
