He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Schmierbach and Luella Schmierbach; his children, Melissa Klotz and Bobby Schmierbach, Jr.; his parents-in-law, Drucilla and Joseph Zink; and his godparents, Leroy and Verida Franke.
He is survived by: his grandson JT; his wife Catherine Schmierbach of Waterloo, IL; his sisters, Edna Ditch (Bill) of Millstadt, IL and Renee Rohwedder (Hank) of Belleville, IL; his siblings-in-law, Donna Nowak (late Bruce) of Belleville, IL, Kay Sabo of Millstadt, IL, Joyce Crader (Warren) of Millstadt, IL and Bill Zink of Belleville, IL.; and his grandson Joshua Thomas "JT" Klotz of Mt. Olive, IL. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins in addition to many beloved friends.
