It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert A. Huch of Waterloo, Illinois, born in Belleville, Illinois, who passed away on January 7, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Huch and Willevra Huch; his parents-in-law, Herbert and Caroline Schifferdecker; and his siblings-in-law, Margie Doering, Don Walker, Tom Doering, Steven Eschmann and George Schifferdecker.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Huch; his sons, Jason Huch and Jared Huch; his stepchildren, Kathy Brewer (Albert), Gary Eschmann (Paula), Barbara Eshing (Jeff) and Nancy Henry (Mark); his grandchildren, Deanna Roessler (Brad), Chad Brewer (Kristal), Ryan Brewer (Stacey), Corey Brewer (Becki), Grant Eschmann (Becky), Neil Eschmann (Nikki), Greg Boskamp (Caitlin), Tim Eshing, John Boskamp (Amanda), Blake Henry, Logan Henry, Alaina Henry, Pyper Huch, Mia Huch and Landon Huch; his great grandchildren, Colin Roessler, Olivia Roessler, Jordyn Brewer, Kadyn Brewer, Brody Brewer, Brynlee Brewer, Harrison Boskamp, Niko Eschmann, Taylor Thorsten, Kayla Thorsten and Hailey Thorsten; his sisters, Jean Baker (Dick) and Dianne Pena (Steven); his siblings-in-law, Ramona Eschmann, Marie Schifferdecker and Terrence Schifferdecker (Sandy); and his nephew Josh Glessner. He is also survived by nieces; nephews; other family members; and friends.
