He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Phillips and Rosaline Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Connie Phillips (Morefield); his son Tim Phillips (Mary); his grandchildren, Chris Phillips (Tara) and Eric Phillips (Lindsey); his great grandchildren, Phoenix, Maliyah and Xandric Phillips; his great great grandchild Katalina Phillips; and his sisters, Pat Todd and Wanda Harr. He is also survived by nieces, and nephews.

He lived life with the thought: Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in a well preserved body, but rather thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "WOW...... what a ride" As an expression of sympathy the family prefers memorial contributions to: Hospice of Southern Illinois.
