He is survived by: his stepchildren, Richard Przada (Gail) and Rosemarie Sintzel (Roby); his stepgrandchildren, Christine Mattson (Daniel), John Sintzel, Mathew Sintzel, Adam Sintzel, Michael Sintzel (Erin Smallmon) and Sharon Serafini (Dan); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Katherine, Daniel Mattson, Brooke, Charlotte Sintzel, Lauren and Logan Serafini; and his nieces and nephews, Rick Tippett (Carlyn), Rich Schmersahl (Lanie), Tom Schmersahl (Jackie), Mike Thornton (Justine), Bob Schmersahl (Nora), Dave Thornton (Karen), Kathy Smith (Mike), Mary Flynn, Chris McCall and Mary Ann Stanfill (Greg).
