She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Ellis and Tina Tedrow Kendall; her husband Antone W. "Tony" Ottwell; her daughter Mary Ellen Schaefer; her siblings, Mabel, Harriet, Dixie, Betty, Linnie and G. R. "George"; and her stepson Tony Eugene Ottwell.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Ottwell (Lesley) and Carol Basler (Chris); her son-in-law Bill Schaefer; her stepdaughter-in-law Cathy Ottwell; her grandchildren, Melody Ottwell-Thomas, Gerritt Ottwell and Jack Basler; her great grandchildren, Kylie and Kamryn Thomas; and her sister Elizabeth Flaherty. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
