We are sad to announce that on April 7, 2025, at the age of 94, Numon S. Posey of Waterloo, Illinois, born in Tuscumbia, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Leona Jean Posey; his son Bruce A. Posey; his parents, John W. Posey and Susie Posey; and his siblings, Freeman, Leeman, Truman, Butch, Bill Posey, Ernestine Myhan, Glenda Byrd, Ilene Vandiver and Linda Sue Wayland.
He is survived by: his former wife Alma Posey; his daughters, Pamela Margalski (Gary), Dawn Harris (Thomas) and Jill Nance (David); his daughter-in-law Michelle Posey; his daughters, Pam Alexander (Mark) and Sherrie Pearse (Mike); his grandchildren, Jason Rey, Jerod Posey (Erin), Jamie Rivera (Manuel), Brittany Miller (Tyler), Adam Harris (Dana), Bethany Muehleisen (Ben), Lindsay Harris, Mariah Silvestry (John), Serena Honaker (Adam), David Nance (Sandi), Shanon Mercado (Juan), Dana Alexander, Nickolas Alexander (Rachel), Virgil Noah, Lucas Pearse and Chelsea Greene (Jon); and his siblings, Raymond Posey, Dessie Prince and Joyce Posey Guebert. He is also survived by nieces; nephews; and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the New Life Church (502 Front St, Waterloo, IL 62298). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
