We are sad to announce that on June 7, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Mildred Lee Menke of Waterloo, Illinois, born in Belleville, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Leroy A. Mees and Mildred S. Mees Sr.; and her brother Leroy A. Mees Jr.. She is survived by : her husband Robert W. Menke; her children, Susan Stratman (Ken), April Kirkley (Scott), Daniel Menke (Megan) and Mildred Powers (Joseph); her grandchildren, Angela, John, Matthew Stratman, Caroline Eschmann (Nate), Luke, Liam Kirkley, McKenna, Jackson, Logan Menke, Mildred, Mark and Mary Jane Powers; and her great grandchild Bryce Eschmann. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; nieces; nephews; and cousins.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 11th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, June 12th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 12th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (522 S Church St, Waterloo, IL 62298).

As an expression of sympathy the family prefers memorial contributions to: Immanuel Lutheran Preschool or St. Jude's Research Hospital.
