She was predeceased by: her husband Calvin F. Crook; her sons, Steven Crook (Shirley), David G. Crook and Richard Crook (April); her parents, Edward Joshua and Charlotte Roberts; and her siblings, Hartley, Orville, Bessie, Ruth, Delpha and Edna.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Crook (Kathy), Glenn Crook (Pam) and Carol Valenzuela (Kevin Burris); her daughter-in-law Linda Hoock; her grandchildren, Kim Larabell (Don), Randy Crook (June), Karen Hill (Steve), Sherry Crook, Kevin Crook (Shannon), Jesse Crook (Kacie Vogt), Curtis Crook, Justin Lenhard (Princess), Robert Valenzuela (Kailleen), Daniel Valenzuela (Krista), Brian Crook (Amanda), Scott Crook (Samantha) and Andrea Lindauer (Troy); and her brother Bob Roberts. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Zion United Church of Christ - St. Joe (4202 Kaskaskia Rd, Waterloo, IL 62298). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. Maudie was a member of Zion UCC in St. Joe, IL, RSVP Singing Choir, American Legion Auxiliary 581, Zion Quilters.
As an expression of sympathy, the family prefers memorial contributions to: Zion UCC - St. Joe or Alzheimers Association.
