It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary E. Fredrick of Waterloo, Illinois, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on February 1, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert E. Fredrick Sr.; her parents, Vincent P. Blust and Veda Blust Sr.; her grandson Donald Hosfeld; and her sisters-in-law, Sue Blust and Geri Keim (Ronald).
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Jr. Fredrick (Shanna) and Jason E. Fredrick (James Fuhrman); her grandchildren, Kyle Fredrick (Ashley), Michael Hosfeld (Emma), Samantha Yokley and Sean Yokley; her siblings, Millie Scherr (Bill), Pat Blust, Vince Blust (Lynn), William Blust, Dave Blust (Christie), Doug Blust and Lillie Blust; her sister-in-law Mary Nottmeier; and her caregiver Wendy. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Quernheim Funeral Home (800 S Market St, Waterloo, IL 62298). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
As an expression of sympathy, the family prefers memorial contributions to: Gibault High School (Scope Club).
