He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Luedeman; his father Edwin (Hulda); his brother Wayne Luedeman; and his brother-in-law Dorris Nixon. He is survived by: his children, Cindy Schickedanz (Dale) of Fairview Heights, IL, Kathy Gabriel (Dan) of Ballwin, MO and Ed Luedeman (Ann) of Waterloo, IL; his sister Dolores Brockmeyer of Steeleville, IL; his sisters-in-law, Pauline Nixon of Waterloo, IL and Loretta Luedeman of Steeleville, IL; his grandchildren, Dane Schickedanz (Heather), Brad Blankenship (Courtney), Katie Rule (Derrick), Sydney Luedeman and Drake Luedeman; and his great grandchildren, Elle, Beau, Cal, Lenna, Vivie, Brynlee, Dashiell, Jett, Griffin and Corinne.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (229 Goodhaven Street, Columbia, Illinois 62236).
Memorials may be made to the St. Paul Lutheran Church Maintenance Fund.
