He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce P. Gruber; his parents, Frank Gruber and Pauline Gruber; and his siblings, Violet Kertz, Delores Gruber, Pat Earhart, Kenneth Gruber and Alvin Gruber.
He is survived by: his children, Dawn Shields, Darren Gruber (Debbie), Denise Kinzinger (Ron) and Devin Gruber (Elaine); his grandchildren, Lindsay Shields (Tom Gallagher), Summer Shields, Rory Kinzinger, Nate Kinzinger (Adrienne), Erica Gruber and Josh Gruber; his great grandchildren, Zaylee Lloyd, Sloane Kinzinger and Olivia Lloyd; and his siblings, Don Gruber (Pat), Butch Gruber (Annette), Gene Gruber and Karen Sitzes (Kenny). He is also survived by sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; nieces; nephews; & cousins.
