She was predeceased by: her husband Edgar A. Kaestner; and her parents, Henry J. Josten and Clara A. Josten. She is survived by: her children, Michael Kaestner (Susan), Linda Mueller (Michael) and Trudi Vogt (Kevin); her grandchildren, Aaron Kaestner (Carrie), Matthew Kaestner (Loren), Ryan Mueller (Danielle McNamara), Amanda Mueller (Duo Park), Tim Vogt (Alexis Matzenbacher) and Nathan Vogt (Kimberli Moore); and her great grandchildren, Samantha and Molly Kaestner. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
As an expression of sympathy, the family prefers donations be made in Memory of Marlene Kaestner to The Foundation For Barnes-Jewish Hospital with the gift being directed to the Transplant Center.
