She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Hempen and Augusta Hempen (Mann); her siblings, Ben Hempen and Marilyn Griesbaum; her husband Charles Mueth; her children, Jane Mueth and John Mueth; and her granddaughter Cara Johnson Prewitt.

She is survived by: her daughters, Jean Dayton (Mike) and June Johnson (Art); her grandchildren, Eric Mueth, Jenna Edward (Chad) and Brandon Johnson (Kelsie); her great grandchildren, Serenity, Penelope Mueth, Coen, Adrianna Edwards and Reya Johnson; and her grandchildren, Marilynn and Darrell Tindall.
