With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lucille Wetzler (Waterloo, Illinois), born in Renault, Illinois, who passed away on May 4, 2020 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband William E. Wetzler; her sons, Barry J. Wetzler and William J. "Bill" Wetzler; her parents, Frank J. Novak and Orlena Novak; and her brother James Novak.
She is survived by: her sons, Tom Wetzler (Teri) and Mark Wetzler (Fran Byrne); her grandchildren, Ashley Duecker, Courtney Birk (Ryan), Brittany Litteken (Kasey), Cody Wetzler (Kelsey) and Chelsey Wetzler (Luke); her great grandchildren, Kailee, Kameron, Kenadee, Lola, Lincoln, Harper, Hudson and Nolan; her siblings, Jerry Novak (Susie), Helen Koch (Henry) and Pat Schmidt (Lonny); and her sisters-in-law, Ardell Hartmann, Darlene Wetzler and Frances Novak. She is also survived by nieces; nephews; and cousins.
Visitation: 9 AM until 11:30 AM Friday, May 8, 2020 at Quernheim Funeral Home *Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, people are asked to stay in their cars as they drive by and greet the family.
As an expression of sympathy the family prefers memorial contributions to: American Heart Assn., SS Peter and Paul Church - Waterloo, or Donor's Choice.
