He was predeceased by: his former wife Sarah Anne Burton; and his parents, Donald C. Burton and Marjorie Burton. He is survived by: his wife Jodi Burton; his children, Julie Roy (Jeff), Stacey Schilling (Tom) and Michael Eric Burton (Meghan); his grandchildren, Jack Roy (Lauren Wheeler), Reid, Rowan Schilling, Emma Bertrand and Nick Burton; his great grandchild Lydia K. Roy; and his brothers-in-law, John T. Dacus (Laurie) and Michael W. Ritchie. He is also survived by nieces; nephews; and cousins.
As an expression of sympathy the family prefers memorial contributions to: House of Neighborly Service Vitas Hospice or Donor's Choice.
