James Gidley Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Gidley of Waterloo, Illinois, born in Renault, Illinois, who passed away on September 27, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, August Gidley and Mary Gidley; his wife Barbara H. Gidley; his children, Marvin Gidley and Kathy Kern; his grandson Brandon Vogt; and his brother Tom Gidley.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Vogt (Tom) and Marty Gidley (Connie); his son-in-law Mike Kern; his grandchildren, Megan Vogt, Emily Vogt, Jamie Sonderman (Patrick), Eric, Kenneth and Heather Gidley; his great grandchildren, Shane, Jase, Logan and Juliette; his sisters, Mary Leah Gotto and Ruth Gidley; and his siblings-in-law, Dolores Gidley, Janet Bagsby, Dorothy Bagsby, John Bagsby Jr., Leo Bagsby and Lionel "Rudy" Bagsby. He is also survived by nieces; nephews; and cousins.
He is retired from Pillsbury after 30 years as a Grain Miller, enjoyed fishing, hunting, and recycling metal, St. Louis Cardinals fan, former member of Our Lady of Good Council Church - Renault As an expression of sympathy the family prefers memorial contributions to: Our Lady of Good Council Church - Renault.
