James A. May Obituary
In loving memory of James A. May of Waterloo, Illinois, who departed this world on March 23, 2025 at the age of 68. James leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert J. May and Elizabeth A. "Betty" May; and his sister Diane May. He is survived by: his siblings, Jane Brown (Larry), Shirley Dehn (Ron), Patrick May, Marcia Stroh (Don) and Tony May (Connie); his close friend Brian; and his pets, Buster and Killer. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Quernheim Funeral Home (800 S Market St, Waterloo, IL 62298). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ss Peter and Paul Church (204 W Mill St, Waterloo, IL 62298).
As an expression of sympathy, the family prefers memorial contributions to: SS Peter & Paul Catholic School or Helping Strays of Monroe County.
