He was predeceased by: his wife Judith A. Hayes; his children, Karen Sweet and Keith "Kedo" Hayes; his parents, Raymond F. Hayes and Marjorie Hayes; his siblings, Gerry Hayes, Richard "Dickie" Hayes and Carol Marini; and his half-brother Bob Hayes.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Hayes (Robin), Lisa Rhodes and Tricia Headrick (Darrel). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and cousins.
As an expression of sympathy, the family prefers memorial contributions to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Helping Strays.
