He is survived by: his wife Viv; his son Philip; his daughter-in-law Kathy Horn of Waterloo; his daughters, Rochelle Horn Fichter of Evansville, Indiana and Anita Horn Rizek; his son-in-law Chris Rizek of Davidsonville, Maryland; his grandson Bradley Horn (Katie Remick); his great grandchildren, Banks and Hattie Horn of Waterloo; his grandson Tyler Horn (Julia); his great grandchild Henry Horn of Waterloo; his grandchildren, Briley Fichter Simpkins (Jared) of Mt. Vernon, Alex Fichter (Hannah) of Newburgh, Lilian, Meredith and James Rizek of Davidsonville, Maryland; his foster daughter Sheryl McCallister; his grandson Jeremy McCallister of Boonville, Indiana.; and his friend Ivan.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at 123 S Main St, Waterloo, IL 62298. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Ivan's legacy of care extends beyond his death with his donation to the Body Donor Program at Washington University in St. Louis.
