She was predeceased by: her husband Carl H. Schmeltz; her son David Schmeltz; her parents, Thomas Dodson and Gertie Dodson; her brothers, Lloyd Dodson (Maxine), Junior Dodson, Johnnie Dodson (Joy) and Gene Dodson; and her brother-in-law Paul Schmeltz.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Schmeltz (Katherine), Kathleen Oberto, Elaine Williams (Michael) and Glenn Schmeltz (Denise); her grandchildren, Amanda Bell (John), Justin Schmeltz, Ashley Cherry (Thomas), Brooke Oberto, Tiffany Williams (Bobby), Kyle Williams (Makenzie), Dean Schmeltz (Allison) and Dinah Schmeltz; her great grandchildren, Henry, Keagan, Khloe and Colton; her siblings, Melba Anderson, Sandy Willette and Jim Dodson; and her sisters-in-law, Darlene Dodson and Joyce Schmeltz. She is also survived by nieces; & nephews.
