With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Harry Marquardt of Waterloo, Illinois, born in Prairie du Rocher, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his wife Elaine Marquardt; his parents, Anton Marquardt and Dorothy Marquardt; and his siblings, Paul Marquardt, Arthur Marquardt, Ralph Marquardt, Ethel Bufalo and Alice Zapf.
He is survived by: his daughters, Christine Roy (Tim) and Kelly Todd (Matt); his grandchildren, Dylan Roy (Trysta Guebert), Devin Roy, Matthew Todd (Alexandra) and Benjamin Todd; his great grandchild Dakota Roy; and his siblings, Jane Thien, Joyce Lindsey (Joe), Velma Mueth (Darrell), Judy Stirnamann and Larry Marquardt (Debbie). He is also survived by sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; nieces; and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Quernheim Funeral Home (800 S Market St, Waterloo, IL 62298). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
