He was predeceased by: his parents, George Toenjes and Alma Toenjes; his siblings, Marlene Toenjes, Robert "Bob" Toenjes (Delores), Wilbur "Whip" Toenjes (Eileen), George "Dick" Toenjes (Luella), Floyd "Flip" Toenjes (Eulene) and Donald "Knuckles" Toenjes (LuAnn); and his sister-in-law Louise Shilling.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce A. Toenjes; his children, Anthony Toenjes (Sharrol), Christine Kuhlman (Ken) and Cheryl Huch; his grandchildren, Paul Toenjes (Kara), Libby Ganz (Brandon) and Alexander Kuhlman; his great grandchildren, Vivian and Charlotte Toenjes; and his siblings-in-law, Jack Shilling (Elaine), Janet Mayes, John Shilling (Dolores), Joe Shilling, Jean Shilling, Jerry Shilling (Susan), Thomas Mayes and Sandy Shilling. He is also survived by nieces; nephews; and cousins.
