Hesterberg of Waterloo, Illinois, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away at the age of 81, on January 25, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hesterberg and Gladys Hesterberg; and his brothers-in-law, Bob Walster and David Weinhoff. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Michelle Wolz (Robert) and Matthew Hesterberg; his grandchildren, Ryan Wolz (Katie), Derek Wolz (Andrea), Joseph Hesterberg and Hannah Hesterberg; his great grandchildren, Lillian and Andrew Wolz; and his siblings-in-law, JoAnn Walster, Marcella Pour (Joe), Sharon Weinhoff and Ed Wienhoff (Emma). He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Quernheim Funeral Home (800 S Market St, Waterloo, IL 62298). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ss Peter and Paul Church (204 W Mill St, Waterloo, IL 62298).
As an expression of sympathy, the family prefers memorial contributions to: SS Peter & Paul Grade School or Donor's Choice.
