He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Redd; his daughter Karen K. Redd; his parents, Harry and Agnes; and his siblings, Donald Redd, Dorothy Stone and Delores Wicks.
He is survived by: his children, Eugene Redd II of St. Louis, MO, Edward Hamlin of Texas, Ronald Hamlin (Terrie) of Waterloo, IL and Patricia Kappler (Scott) of Waterloo, IL; his brothers, Harry Redd (Marcia) of Collinsville, IL and Terrence Redd (Peggy) of Bloomington, IL; and his grandchildren, Christopher, Stephen, Crystal Hamlin, Christina Gilmore, Kayla, Ryan Hamlin, Misty Kluba, Melissa Smith (Stan) and Lisa Day. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
