Elizabeth Mathes Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Mathes (Waterloo, Illinois), who passed away on May 14, 2020 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Shelby D. Mathes Jr.; her grandson Kirk Osterhage; her daughter-in-law Margaret "Shelly" Mathes; her parents, George Edward and Barbara Elizabeth Sweet; and her siblings, Jeanette Sweet and George A. Sweet.
She is survived by: her children, Sandy Reinhold of Waterloo, Shelby R Mathes Sr. (Nancy) and Rodney Mathes (Melanie) of Alton. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, a niece, a nephew, an aunt, and lots of cousins.
As an expression of sympathy the family prefers memorial contributions to: Parkinsons Association.
