He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Schaefer; his children, Kim Kubik (Mark), Cassie Pate, Jim Schaefer (Susan) and Charles Schaefer; his grandchildren, Cameron, Mariah Kubik, Katherine Lenhardt (Shane), Carter Pate (Haley), Makenzie Hemmer (Dylan), Jacob, Mary, Josephine Schaefer, Kyle and Cole Schaefer; his great grandchild Skylar Pate; and his sister Beverly Meyer. He is also survived by nieces; nephews; and cousins.
