She was predeceased by: her husband Harold W. "Mick" Pieper; her sons, Dennis Pieper and Gary Pieper; her parents, George H. Luhr and Rebecca C. Luhr; her siblings, Glenn Luhr (Marilyn) and Janet E. Hoffmann; her brother-in-law Merle A. "Butch" Mehrtens; and her daughter-in-law Joan Pieper.
She is survived by: her sister Arline Mehrtens; her brother-in-law Earl Hoffmann; her nieces and nephews, Brenda Wetters (Don), Barbara Stapczynski (Steve), Steve Luhr (Tina), Brian Luhr, Nancy Wolfmeier (Jay) and Vicki Pierrat (Jim); her stepgranddaughter Marla Rose; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Jacob, Hannah, Sophia and Noah. She is also survived by great nieces; great nephews; cousins; and many friends.
