He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond T. Shields and Thelma Mae Shields. He is survived by: his children, Lindsay Shields (Tom Gallagher) and Summer Shields; and his siblings, Dennis Shields, Diane Eckrich, Denise Eichelmann (Robert), Debbie Siedle (Charlie), Dana Grossmann (Rick) and Dawn Gregory (Greg). He is also survived by aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins; and friends.
