He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer W. Wetzler and Luella Wetzler; his brother Lloyd Wetzler (Edna); and his parents-in-law, Ervin and Leonora Rubemeyer.
He is survived by: his wife Violet Wetzler; his sons, Michael Wetzler (Sheila), Barry Wetzler (Julie) and Wayne Wetzler; his grandchildren, Tyler Wetzler (Jessica), Monica Schmidt (Josh), Lucas Wetzler, Mallory Wetzler and Cole Wetzler; his great grandchild Daisy Schmidt; his brother Dennis Wetzler (Barb); and his sisters-in-law, Betty Wild and Kathy Rubemeyer. He is also survived by nieces; nephews; and cousins.
As an expression of sympathy the family prefers memorial contributions to: Monroe County History Museum or St. Paul UCC.
