With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles R. Metzger of Waterloo, Illinois, who passed away on November 4, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Metzger and Elvira Metzger; and his brothers, Louis Metzger (Sandy) and Edward Metzger. He is survived by: his wife Rosalie Metzger; his children, Kim Kann (Ray Stalinski), Teri Wetzler (Tom) and Mike Metzger (Jan); his grandchildren, Michelle Kann, Katy Bates (Michael), Ashley Duecker, Brittany Litteken (Kasey), Chelsey Wetzler (Luke Weatherred), Andrew Metzger and Ryan Metzger; and his great grandchildren, Kailee, Kameron, Kenadee, Max, Lawson, Archer, Lola, Henry, Elsie and Lincoln. He is also survived by sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; nieces; nephews; and cousins.
As an expression of sympathy the family prefers memorial contributions to: Hospice of Southern Illinois or American Heart Association.
