He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Russel W. Jost and Jean C. Jost. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Burton (Chris), Emily Miller (Josh) and Eric Jost (Heather); his grandchildren, Ella, Tessa, Aiden, Noah and Emma; and his sisters, Marguerite Donius (Marvin) and Alice Jost (Keith Haider).
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Quernheim Funeral Home (800 S Market St, Waterloo, IL 62298). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
