He was predeceased by: his father James E. Vierheller; and his grandparents, Edward "Pop", Emelie, Cortner, Leo, Mathilda "Tilly" and Vierheller.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine; his mother Myrtle (Vierheller); and his sister Nancy Ann McNay. He is also survived by several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; many nieces and nephews; numerous cousins.
