She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Michels; her son Richard G. Michels Sr.; her granddaughter Danielle Craft; her stepgranddaughter Portia Worley; her parents, Stefan Lautenbach and Lena Lautenbach; and her sons-in-law, Mike Griffin and Karl Schlemmer.

She is survived by: her children, Elfrieda Lloyd (Joe), Alfred Michels (Donna), Barb Hoselton, Marie Schlemmer (Bill), Betty Moll (John), Kathy Goodman (Kenny), Joe Michels (Debbie), Sue Stuart (Lou), John Michels (Toni), Debbie Blandford (Jeff) and Diane Lewis (Joe); her daughter-in-law Patty Michels; and her sister-in-law Francis Bambach. She is also survived by many grandchildren; step grandchildren; great grandchildren; great great grandchildren.

As an expression of sympathy the family prefers memorial contributions to: SS Peter and Paul Church.
