He was predeceased by: his wife Elfrieda Meyer; his parents, Fred Meyer and Hulda Meyer; and his siblings, Hilda Wilson, Erna Ernsting, Evelyn Schwartzkopf, Ray Meyer and Harold Meyer.
He is survived by: his children, Jane Schaefer and Gene Meyer (Angela); his grandchildren, Jamie Dugger (Michael), Josh Schaefer (Lindsay Flotron), Kendra Dompierre (Seth), Kirstin Meyer-Kaiser (Carl Kaiser) and Wesley Meyer; and his great grandchildren, Addison Dugger, Ashton Dugger, Lexie Dugger, Asher Dugger and Henry Dompierre.
As an expression of sympathy the family prefers memorial contributions to: Immanuel Lutheran Church.
